💼 What I Do at Lumina
I work closely with our Account Managers to support the full tender process, from the moment a request comes in, right through to submission. This includes sending tender requests to suppliers, compiling pricing into professional documents, and managing key tasks like running credit checks, processing signed contracts and Letters of Authority, and submitting sales through supplier portals. I also manage internal reporting, including daily KPIs, weekly marketing stats, and monthly reporting for various teams.

🎉 A Proud Moment
Before joining Lumina, I had no experience in the energy industry as my background was in the IT education sector. Since joining, I’ve thrown myself into learning a completely new sector, and I’m proud of how quickly I’ve picked things up. Tenders can be challenging as I have Dyscalculia, which is a specific learning disability that affects a person’s ability to acquire arithmetical skills, often referred to as “math dyslexia” and tenders are a lot of numbers so to have understood and been delivering those effectively is something I am very proud of as well. I’ve embraced the fast-paced environment and am thriving in the supportive team around me.

🌍 Fun Fact About Me!
My family are keen travellers, and I’ve been fortunate to visit incredible places across the world, including the Caribbean, America, and Africa. One of my most memorable experiences was visiting Nine Mile in Jamaica, the birthplace and final resting place of Bob Marley. We explored his childhood home and paid our respects to both him and his mother, Cedella Booker.
